Trust

Close your eyes.

Imagine you lost any power over your everyday decisions. Someone will still make the decisions, but it’s not going to be you.

In this hypothetical, you get to choose who makes every single one of your daily choices. Anybody. Until you die. You can even create a person that has never existed before. You can and should get creative.

Who will determine what you have for breakfast and where you find meaning in life? What things will he/she prioritize for the rest of your existence?

Can you really trust anyone with that burden?

Is it even possible?

Open your eyes.

It’s you:

Reader, presumably human; naturally brilliant.

You are the person to which you entrust your only possession: your time of life.

This is no hypothetical. This is real life.

What will you do then? Will you crumble while trying to bear the responsibility? Or will you rise to your own biggest occasion? Will you become the human you know you want to be?

Live now, perpetuate real life. Do not chase your own tail until death sets us apart. There’s so much more. Your sole existence is worth more than the credit you give yourself.
